From the observation of this town it’s make me realize that even it’s a small town but there are a lot of people walking and rumbling everywhere on the road. The people can classify in to 3 types that are, local, tourist and student. It’s seem like the town is attractive to the tourists who visit as they can sightseeing and walking around along the way and non stop taking picture while they are fulfill themselves in a old historic town. Most of them travel up to the main site of the city. I saw that the visitors are very interested in the Chiangmai heritage area. The locals entered the temple and old traditional building for one reason as to preying and blessing for god. In other hand the tourists were there for sightseeing and some interested in the history of this sacred place. According to MacCannell (1976), the tourists embody a quest for authenticity, they are a contemporary pilgrims seeking authenticity in other times and places away from their usual life.
